Welcome!

NOTE: Hyperlinks not working? Replace the “feliciachew” with “chewfortucson.wordpress” in the address. Much love and appreciation to WordPress who has hosted this site since 2017. CHEWfor Tucson was originally created when Felicia Chew campaigned politically, recognizing that policies hold the key to many of the problems in the Tucson community. However, in an effort for name recognition for the ballots, the domain name “feliciachew” was purchased and linked to ChewForTucson And for whatever reason, the feliciachew portion which substituted the ChewForTucson is no longer working. CHEW stands for Compassion, Humanity, Empathy, and Wisdom; or Creativity, Humanity, Empathy, Wisdom. Kalamajong/Felicia

Felicia Chew Community Projects is a small business in Tucson, Arizona. Become a sponsor, give the gift of sponsorship, or become an advertiser today!

  • 80% of our community can access and use programs and resources, as they are.
  • 10% can use them with some minor modifications.
  • But for the final 10%, the programs and resources are inaccessible.

The mission of Felicia Chew Community Projects is to bridge the gap for that 10%, and create #OurTucson, for #EachOfUs and #AllOfUs.

…How?

…by sharing stories, art, and perspectives. We *think* we know the “best practices” for “achieving success”; unfortunately, we do not know what we do not know — we do not know the details that are organic and unpredictable.

Felicia Chew Community Projects encourages #EachOfUs and #AllOfUs to look beyond what we can see, and bring community members together through sharing stories, that help us understand others’ perspectives, and help #EachOfUs and #AllOfUs become more engaged community members, and better informed citizens, to build a Tucson where we can all say, “This is #OurTucson.”

How?

First, the Felicia Chew Community Project collects the stories, art, and perspectives through outreach at Festivals, referrals, and just being in the community.

Then, those stories, art, and perspectives are included in Tucson Quilt Project quilts, Tucson Tweenzine or Tucson Teenzine, or transformed into #OurTucson Little Books.

The process takes time, and time takes money.

Will you help us with this mission, by spreading the word and sharing this page; sharing stories, art, perspective; or by becoming a sponsor, giving the gift of sponsorship, or becoming an Advertiser?

Thank you!

We say “Viva!” You say “La revolucion!”

A Letter From Felicia

Felicia Chew Community Projects and I invite you to “chew on ideas, chew on food, and “chew’s” wisdom, because our children are watching.”

Summary of Services: (1) “Chew on Ideas “.
