Purpose and Perspective – Felicia understands the need for education with a purpose, and the need for diverse perspectives that address student, family, and staff strengths and challenges. The purpose of education? Creating complex thinkers, self-motivated learners, and effective communicators.
Action and Accountability – Felicia takes action for accountability. Felicia will work to implement policies and procedures that promote individual responsibility and accountability for members of the Amphi Learning Community, including Governing Board Members.
Voice and Vision – Felicia amplifies voices of community members, and has vision for amplifying the voices of, and advocating for, students, families, and staff members at local and state levels.
Experience and Empathy – Felicia has over 20 years of experience as an educational leader, and practices empathy in all areas of her life. Felicia understands the difference between compassion (which can lead to coddling), and empathy (which leads to empowerment).
